I wish I had grown up with a family that wasn't so afraid of eachother.
I wish I could have learned guitar from my dad.
I wish I could have sung with my brother.
I wish I could have done these things.
Instead I grew with a family that did not know what Love was.
Or rather, their love was a private kind,
Do Not Disturb kind.
There was no showing.
I wish I could have sung with them.
I could have gotten farther,
sooner,
stronger.
I could have been what I'm afraid I will never be
